To achieve the Award, students must complete 45 hours of activities in an academic year across 4 main strands:
Activities can be completed in school, but they can also include things like reading books or watching documentaries relevant to STEMM subjects and the strand themes above. And don’t forget that attending UEA Outreach events counts of lots of the strands too.
What does STEMM mean?
STEMM stands for 5 key subject areas: Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine.
Bronze Award? Completed it. What’s next?
Level up with the Silver Award and maybe even the Gold Award. Youth STEMM Awards have multiple levels to explore.
