Youth STEMM Award

STEMM courses are prestigious – and that makes them competitive. So, help your students stand out from the crowd and showcase their individuality with the Youth STEMM Award. Putting their self-motivation and enthusiasm to the test, the award recognises 45 hours of personal development across an exciting range of themes. Did you know that taking part in some of our activities is a way to clock hours? Your students can earn their awards in no time.

To achieve the Award, students must complete 45 hours of activities in an academic year across 4 main strands:

• Inspiring the Next Generation (10 hours)
• Engaging the Public (10 hours)
• Developing Your Skills and Knowledge (10 hours)
• Shaping Your Future (15 hours)

Activities can be completed in school, but they can also include things like reading books or watching documentaries relevant to STEMM subjects and the strand themes above. And don’t forget that attending UEA Outreach events counts of lots of the strands too.
