Join us on campus to be immersed in all things higher education – your students will spend a full day at UEA. They’ll take part in interactive workshops covering a variety of topics and get to work with current UEA students throughout. Expect them to leave the day with a much deeper understanding of what Higher Education is, what it could mean from them in the future and what it’s really like to be a student. They will be inspired that higher education is for ‘someone like me’ through interactions with peers and role models.
Who signs up?
Teachers can book multiple places at once. UEA for a day is booked alongside other pre-16 activities via our 2024-25 on-campus booking form. We’ll be in touch when the booking form opens with all the details – you’ll have the opportunity to rank activities you’d like to attend.
What are the dates?
UEA for a Day will take place on campus at UEA on 25 March.
Who is UEA for a Day for?
The day is designed specifically for Year 9 students – you can bring up to 15 students from your school.
We know that choosing which students to bring to these experiences can be hard. We’d love to work with your students who would get the most benefit from the day – we’re always happy to chat about which students would get the most out of taking part in our activity, so just ask if you’re not sure.
How long is the event?
Campus visits are likely to run from 9am to 3pm each day. We will confirm timings closer to the time.
