Student Talks

Making decisions about university isn’t easy, so why not hear from the people who are living and breathing it? Student Subject Talks, part of Explore, connects potential Higher Education applicants with current UEA students, letting them hear first-hand about the subjects they are most passionate about.

All sessions are led by current UEA students, who will talk to your students about their experiences and their subject – in their own words. They’re likely to chat about:

• Course and module overviews
• How to choose a subject for Higher Education
• A typical week in their life
• How to prepare for university and build key skills for success

Your students will hear from a role model who has been where they are. Through a student-led talk, they’ll learn about the various benefits and challenges they may face at university. Ultimately, they’ll feel more confident and supported and leave with increased knowledge of what it’s like to be a university student.
