Student Subject Talks

University subjects and courses may seem like a mystery, so, why not hear from the people who are living and breathing it? Student Subject Talks, part of Explore, connects potential Higher Education applicants with current UEA students, letting them hear first-hand about everything in the subjects they are most passionate about.

All sessions are led by current UEA students – your students get to learn about a subject through their words and their own experiences. They’re likely to chat about:

• Course and module overviews
• How to choose a subject for Higher Education,
• A typical week in their life
• How to prepare for and enhance the skills needed at university

Your students will get to see a role model in the shape of a peer and will be able to see the benefits and challenges they may face at university. Ultimately, they’ll feel more confident and supported and leave with increased knowledge of what it’s like to be a university student.
