Skills Discovery

Skills Discovery, part of Future Me, sees your students work together to design a new university. Teamwork and confidence are the name of the game as they spend time exploring and developing a range of key skills.

Skills Discovery happens in 3 parts:

• In-school workshop – March – setting the scene and introducing skills
• On-campus day – April – interactive day practicing skills
• In-school workshop – May – wrap up embedding the skills developed

You can expect your students to feel more confident, proud of their achievements, and eager to put their skills to use again in a different setting. We’ll unleash their creativity when we ask them to work in teams to develop, design and brand a new university and develop their skills with a pitch-style presentation about their ideas. They’ll be led by UEA staff and supported by current UEA students throughout the activities, with plenty of chances to ask lots of questions.
