There are three parts to the activity:
In-school workshop (Spring term)
Delivered 2-3 weeks before our on-campus visit, this workshop will bring university to life.
Activity workbook (Spring term)
Your students will complete their very own workbook, answering questions, drawing and taking part in quizzes to tap into an exciting university experience. All activities can be completed before, during or after the campus visit.
Campus visit (Spring term)
A fun-filled day on campus that includes a campus tour, subject-specific workshops, and meeting university students.
In-school workshop (Spring term)
A chance for your students to reflect on their university experience, ask those final questions and uncover what their futures might look like.
Are all activities compulsory?
Yes, students should complete all activities for a truly immersive adventure into life at university.
How long is each in–school workshop?
There are 2 in-school workshops, each lasting 90 minutes.
When will the campus visit take place?
Final dates are TBC – they’ll be sometime in March or April 2025.

Who should sign up for places?
Teachers from our partner schools can book places for their students once they have signed our partnership agreement. The booking form will be sent out to partner schools in September.
If your school is offered a place during the booking process, your Outreach Officer will be in touch directly to book the wraparound in-school sessions at a time that suits your timetable.
For more activities for Year 6, check out the rest of Future Stars.
Don’t forget, our Outreach team is here to help. They’ll be able to answer any other questions when you get in touch.
