Preparing for University, part of Get Ahead, introduces the key skills your students will need for their university studies. UEA students and staff share their top tips to support your students’ transition from school to university, enabling them to put their best foot forward when they start their course.

• Learning through lectures and seminars
• Taking effective notes
• Types of assignments at university
• Using evidence effectively in academic writing
• Different referencing systems
• Structuring academic writing

Students are free to work through the course at their own pace.
