Activities take place during the Spring and Summer term. As a progressive programme students will benefit the most from attending all the below.
Assembly style session: In-school (10-20 mins):
An introduction to they key decisions that need to made from year 10 through to year 13
Interactive Workshop 1: In-school (45 minutes)
Take a deep dive into the skills needed to make effective decisions and how to create plans
UEA Campus visit: On-campus (6 hours)
University is about so much more than textbooks and studying. Visiting our campus is an opportunity for students to get a real insight into the amazing variety of activities, clubs, courses, societies and experiences that make up university life. They’ll get to take part in activities that help them decide if university will feature in their future
Interactive workshop 2: In-school (45 minutes)
Follow up workshop to embed the skills that have been developed and focus on the next steps in terms of decision making
Who signs up?
All bookings for the on-campus activity have happened. If your school has been offered places during the booking process, your Outreach Officer will be in touch directly to book the wraparound in-school sessions at a time that suits your timetable.
How many students can take part?
There are 180 places available – 12 schools will be offered 15 places each. As a progressive programme students will benefit the most from attending all the activities.

We know that choosing which students to bring to these experiences can be hard. We’d love to work with your students who would get the most benefit from the day – we’re always happy to chat about which students would get the most out of taking part in our activity, so just ask if you’re not sure.
Where does the event take place?
3 sessions take place at your school/college, and 1 session takes place on UEA campus.
When does the event take place?
Activities take place throughout the Spring and Summer term. On-campus activity takes places on 21 and 22 May – your school will only attend one of these days, they’re repeated to allow more students to take part.
