Future Legal Leaders

Future Legal Leaders, part of Explore, is the perfect springboard for Year 12/ Level 3 Year 1 students who aspire to pursue a career in Law. A package of opportunities to gain valuable insight and connections in the legal world. By providing opportunities to develop key skills, build a network of law professionals and receive advice about how to get their foot in the door within one of the most competitive careers, Future Legal Leaders is the chance for your students to get one step ahead. 

This activity takes place on campus in March. The final programme is still being developed but the list below gives an idea of our current thoughts based on previous years activities:

• Explore what being a law student involves and how to apply 
• Learn how to engage with academic legal competitions 
• Practical sessions: mock trial, negotiation, document interrogation and more! 
• Introduction to legal careers 
• Explore potential work experience opportunities 
• Networking opportunities with law professionals 

All activities are designed to ensure that students are ready to engage in the recruitment processes for law that start as soon as they begin university.
