Made by students, for students. Expose. Explore. Empower., part of Empower, gives your students a space to discover conversation and activity surrounding black humanities topics. Expect your students to be inspired to consider studying humanities subjects at university level.

Expose. Explore. Empower. is an annual event for Black and minority ethnic students in Year 8 and Year 9, delivered by the Black Humanities Project team at the Sainsbury Centre.

While the final event details are yet to be confirmed, you can expect hands-on practical, creative activities that will:

Expose hidden and untold stories of Black and minority ethnic figures
Increase your students’ understanding of what skills they can develop through studying arts and humanities
Explore the myriad of graduate opportunities in the arts and humanities
Inspire your students to consider studying an arts or humanities course at university
Empower young people to make informed decisions about their futures
