The event is an interactive, hands-on experience, which will allow students the opportunity to use our state-of-the-art Engineering Labs in Productivity East, our regional hub for Engineering. Students will work in small teams to solve real world Engineering problems by applying their skills and knowledge. Students will use specialised equipment that they may not have come across at school or college and will be accompanied by current UEA Engineering students who will help guide them throughout the 3 days, giving them exposure to real-life role models.
Engineering academics will deliver mini-lectures and teaching sessions to give students the chance to fill in gaps in their knowledge, experience how Engineering is taught at university, and allow students the chance to get to grips with the facilities in Productivity East.
